We are honored to be part of the very first issue of the Tokyo-based independent magazine Troublemakers! In September 2023, Troublemaker co-founders Manami Inoue and Yuto Miyamoto visited us in Basel, Switzerland to speak about Futuress’ journey. Now, the first issue has been printed, including interviews with Remy Nitta, Osaka-based American trans woman; Maya Sekine, Japanese indigenous people Ainu culture advocate; and Irish singer-songwriter Christian Cohle. It also includes Tamara Eckhardt’s photo documentary following the Travellers Irish minority, and Japanese artist Taro Karibe’s essay on his depersonalization.
